Thanks for this issue. I'm pleased to see the "Creation Care" feature. On the agony in Gaza...War is always a failure. It is always and everywhere wrong to kill or threaten to kill the innocent. It is always and everywhere wrong to resort to indiscriminate violence. To that I would add that it is always wrong to treat noncombatants as human shields and to do so as a matter of longstanding and deliberately provocative policy. And why are such actions wrong? Because each human life is an incommensurable and nonfungible good, an indispensable member of the human family. And why is this so? Because each human being is made in God's image and called to live eternally in His love.

There needs to be a long term cease fire from all corners of this conflict. Humanitarian assistance and aid will never be able to get in and the leaders need to stop and think of the children. Those children did not ask for this.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
